Royal Enfield is known for its strong and sturdy motorcycles that can be taken anywhere. The brand is working on adding more motorcycles to its portfolio. We have recently received some spy shots of the Royal Enfield Scram 411. In this article, we will discuss what the Scram 411 has to offer in India.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Design

RE SCRAM 411

This new motorcycle from Royal Enfield is expected to be a more road friendly version of the currently available Himalayan.  There are some differences when you see both these bikes side by side. Wheels, fuel tank, and suspension will be different on this new bike. The Scram 411 is expected to have 18-inch wheels on front and rear with a 300mm disc brake in the front and a 240mm disc brake in the rear. The telescopic suspension at the front looks shorter when compared to the Himalayan. The Himalayan gets long travel suspension but we will have to wait and fins out if this bike gets the same treatment. A mono-shock suspension with adjustable preload will be installed at the rear. The handlebar is set at a lower height and the rider seems to be sitting in a comfortable commuter position. The headlight appears to be different than that we had seen on the Himalayan. The upswept exhaust is continued from the Himalayan in Scram 411. A newly designed fuel tank with shrouds will be seen on the Scram 411.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Features

RE Scram 411

The Scram411 will be offered as a more everyday friendly bike that can do a bit off-road as well. We expect Royal Enfield to offer switchable ABS with the Scram 411. This will enable the bike to be an all-rounder where it can handle off-roading, city commuter, and highway cruiser. The instrument cluster is expected to be borrowed from Meteor 350 with a tripper navigation system. The riding position seems a lot similar to that of the Meteor 350. The bike will also get grab rails where one can mount hard case touring panniers and will be offered in spoke wheels as well as alloy wheels. The Scram 411 will be feature-loaded and get the latest features offered by the brand. Features like DRL, switchable ABS, an LED taillight, an analog speedometer, and a tripper navigation system will also be seen on the Scram 411.

The Scram 411 spotted in the spy shots seems almost production-ready. We expect the Scram 411 to be launched in April 2022. Royal Enfield will price this bike from Rs 1.95 lakh to Rs 2.05 lakh. This bike is placed below the existing Himalayan. With this bike, Royal Enfield fans will get another bike to choose from.
