KTM 390 Adventure Powerful Engine
The KTM 390 Adventure gets a powerful 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine that produces 42.3bhp and 37Nm of torque with a six-speed gearbox. It gets the same engine tune as the 390 Duke. The bike gets a slipper clutch that reduces sudden forces inside the gearbox and reduces wear and tear of the gearbox.

The rubber inserts can easily be removed while going off-road for better grip. The windshield on the bike is height adjustable and provides efficient wind deflection while riding on the highway.
Electronics
The KTM 390 Adventure gets ride-by-wire technology. The bike also gets features like MTC (Motorcycle Traction Control) which is a lean-angle sensitive traction control that reduces power to the rear wheel and restores once the angle of lean is back to normal. The bike also gets switchable off-road ABS wherein the ABS for the rear wheel is deactivated and the ABS activation on the front wheel is reduced. This allows the rider to steer the bike in sharp corners while off-roading. Cornering ABS allows the rider to use the full power of brakes while the system adjusts brake pressure as per the lean angle of the bike. The cornering ABS can be switched off during off-roading. Also, KTM My Ride system allows you to connect a smartphone to the bike and use it to make phone calls, listen to music and use the turn to turn navigation app while riding the bike.
Dual-purpose usage
The KTM 390 Adventure is a good all-rounder bike. The bike can be taken on a long-distance touring ride and it can handle city commute with long traffic jams as well. The bike is designed for long-distance traveling with comfortable seats and a high-raised handlebar. The long-travel suspension and off-road capabilities make this bike a good off-roading bike and can be taken on any kind of road.
Value for Money
The KTM 390 Adventure is priced around Rs 392,201 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). This might seem too high for some buyers. But the engine, ergonomics, and electronics that this bike offers are best in this segment. This bike offers more features than its closest competitor the BMW G310 GS which is also an adventure bike.
