Varun Dhawan will be the brand ambassador for Mahindra and Mahindra’s new upcoming product the KUV100.

This was hinted by Dr Pawan Goenka, Mahindra and Mahindra’s Executive Director today at the naming of this micro SUV. The K stands for kool and it is targeting the youth with this new compact or micro SUV. 

The KUV100 will be launched on 15th January and bookings for this vehicle will start tomorrow. Mahindra has also launched its new generation engines, which are called as the mFalcon. The petrol is the 1.2-litre that churns 82bhp of power and is called as mFalcon G80, while the diesel is a 1.

2-litre 77bhp that is called as mFalcon D75. These are the two new engines and have been built ground-up. Mahindra will be using new-generation engines and this is the smallest one they have ever made.

Mahindra have designed the KUV100 as a no-compromise, future ready, compact SUV that will appeal wholeheartedly to young SUV buyers across the country. Designed and engineered in-house at the Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai, the KUV100 sports a sculpted look, with several distinctive features such as a prominent hood, high belt-line and wrap-around headlamps.

The KUV100 will come in seven exciting colours, named as follows: Fiery Orange, Flamboyant Red, Dazzling Silver, Aquamarine, Pearl White, Designer Grey and Midnight Black. The Mahindra KUV100 has been developed on an indigenous monocoque and is the smallest Mahindra ever made. This will be competing with the Hyundai Grand i10 and will be priced between INR 5-8.5 lakhs (on-road)
