2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – What does it NEED?
Hyundai Venue has been in the top 10 selling cars consistently and reporting good sales figures. In September 2021 Hyundai was able to sell 7,924 units of Venue. The car has been popular ever since it was launched. Hyundai should be planning for a facelift of the Venue soon. In this article, we discuss our expectations from the Hyundai Venue facelift.
Hyundai Venue Exterior
The exteriors of the Venue might get some updated design elements. The facelift of the Venue is expected to come with a newly designed front grille and bumpers that will give a fresh look to the car. The headlamps and tail lamps of the Venue could also get a new design upgrade. Talking about the exteriors, Hyundai could add more color options to the Venue facelift as well.
Hyundai Venue Interior
When it comes to the interiors of the Venue, there will be updates such as a bigger touch screen infotainment. The Venue facelift could get the same bigger touch screen infotainment system that is currently available on the Creta. A fully digital instrument cluster could also be added on the Venue facelift. The Venue facelift might also include an upgrade from projector halogen headlamp to HID projectors or LED reflectors similar to those available in its competition.
Updated Music System
The Hyundai Venue currently gets an Arkamys music system with front and rear speakers with tweeters on the front. We expect the facelift Venue to get a more premium BOSE music system with a subwoofer that’s currently installed on the new Creta. A front central speaker along with front and rear door speakers and front tweeters is also expected in the update.
New Transmission Options
This Hyundai car comes with various combinations when it comes to a petrol engine. But the diesel engine is only offered with a manual transmission. We expect a diesel engine with an automatic transmission similar to that offered by Venue’s competition. This would add a very good option for buyers.
Added Features
Features like remote ignition and ventilated seats are currently not offered on the Venue could be added in the facelift version. Cars that compete against Venue like the Kia Sonet do get such features. Turn by turn navigation might also be added to the Venue facelift. Maybe Hyundai will also get segment-first features like ADAS to the Venue which will make it an ultimate car for many buyers.
The Hyundai Venue is already a value for money product; a facelift will only make it better.
