Tata Sway – name for the Zica sedan – EXCLUSIVE

Tata Motors is likely to name the compact sedan version of the Zica as Sway. We were the first to reveal the Zica name way back in June.

2-litre petrol (three cylinder) and a 1.05-litre diesel engine (again three-cylinder). The Sway will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

The Sway will be launched in the second half of 2016. This new compact sedan will be getting same interiors like the Zica. The Sway has a larger boor than the Zest and it will come loaded with features. The Sway will get features like integrated music system from Harman with eight speakers, bluetooth connectivity, step-by-step navigation guide (at the moment for Android only), dual airbags, ABS,  steering mounted audio controls, electrically adjustable ORVMs, voice command etc.

The Sway will be priced at INR 4.8 lakhs to INR 7.3 lakhs (on-road) approximately. The Sway will be priced below the Zest and this will be an affordable compact sedan, and this will be making a new segment for itself. All those who cannot buy the currently sold compact sedans can pick up the Sway as it will be feature loaded and the engines will be highly fuel-efficient too.
