Super cool Yamaha RX 100 Modification

Yamaha RX 100 has been a legendary motorcycle. This bike also has been a favorite of modification enthusiasts. Let’s have a closer look at this modified RX 100 which has been done up buy FIXUP motorcycle garage in Nashik.

Engine

The engine does seem to get a K&N performance air filter. Apart from that, the changes to the engine are none. It has been cleaned and restored. This bike in its stock tune with the 98cc engine makes about 11 bhp and has a 4-speed gearbox. The power to weight ratio is the key in the bike and that’s where this minimal modification also shines.

Modification Process

The modification process for this Yamaha RX-100 starts with a bike that was bought in scrap condition. The engine had to undergo heavy restoration work as it had been very badly clogged. The bike has a new fuel tank and paint scheme.

Front Design

At the front of this modified RX 100, you can see a thick Michelin Sirac Street. The handlebar has been changed and beefier forks have been added to the front. It still runs a drum brake which is a letdown but the cost of getting a disc setup is quite high.

The headlight unit has been changed and a single pod instrument cluster finishes off the front look of this bike.

Side Design

From the side, you can see a completely exposed engine. The bike has no modification done to the frame. It gets a tan leather seat and a custom exhaust. The rear suspension is white and a customer unit. The bike spots and an all-black engine which has been re-painted to match the look of the frame.

The side of the bike is very minimalistic. This also adds to the clean look that this bike has overall. Also as you can see the tyre sizes both at front and rear are the same.
