The connected car technology is the next big thing in the Indian automotive industry. Nowadays, most of the car buyers are opting for a vehicle that supports or offers connected car technology. Hyundai was the first manufacturer to launch connected car technology for Indian consumers. Hyundai’s BlueLink technology debuted with the Venue compact-SUV. 1) Hyundai Venue
Hyundai Venue was the first vehicle from Hyundai that offered BlueLink connected car technology. Hyundai Venue starts from Rs. 6.75 lakhs ex-showroom. Hyundai Creta 2020, Hyundai Verna, Hyundai Elantra also get the same tech.
2) Hyundai Tucson

3) Hyundai i20

4) Tata Nexon
The Nexon was the first car from Tata to receive the connected car technology. They call it ‘iRA’ or intelligent Real-time Assist. It can run live vehicle diagnostics, provide crash information, raise an alarm if an intrusion is detected, geofence, track your vehicle and much more. 5) MG Hector
The Hector was the first SUV from MG Motors. It has been very successful in the market and offered MG’s i-Smart connected car technology.MG Hector is one of the most loaded connected car that is on sale currently. It gets features like remote control, track vehicle, geofencing, OTA updates and a lot more. MG is currently working on releasing a facelift of the Hector which should hit the showrooms in 2021. 6) MG Gloster

7) MG ZS EV
MG offers a special version of i-Smart technology called i-SMART EV 2.0. This technology is specifically made for electric vehicles and is currently only available on the ZS EV. MG ZS EV starts from Rs. 20.88 lakhs ex-showroom
8)Kia Sonet
The most recent launch from Kia comes with UVO connected car technology. It is already a huge success in the Indian market. The Sonet is the first compact-SUV from Kia. It starts from Rs. 6.71 lakhs ex-showroom. Both Kia Seltos and Kia Carnival come with similar connected car tech.
9) Ford EcoSport
Ford Ecosport comes with FordPass connected car tech. This allows the user to remote start/stop, remote lock/unlock, locate the vehicle and much more through the application. 11) Jeep Compass
Jeep Compass was a hit in the market when it was first launched. It is the most affordable model that Jeep currently sells in India. 12) Nissan Magnite
Nissan Magnite is the latest compact-SUV to compete in the segment. It is the cheapest compact-SUV that you can buy. It also offers Nissan’s Nissan Connect connected tech that offers service history, service booking, automated roadside assistance, geofencing, vehicle status and much more. 13) Volkswagen Polo
Volkswagen Polo TSI is one of the best performings and handling hatchbacks in the Indian market. If you consider yourself a keen driver then the Polo could be the best option for you. Volkswagen is offering its Volkswagen Connect technology that works through a dongle that plugs into the on-board diagnostics (OBD) port of the car. Volkswagen Connect offers anti-theft alarm, service history, geo-fencing and much more. These features are only offered on the GT variant which costs Rs. 9.67 lakhs ex-showroom. Vento also comes with similar features.
14) Honda City
Honda City 5th generation was the first vehicle from the Japanese manufacturer to get connected car technology. Honda City comes with Honda Connect connected car tech. It offers 32 features that can be done remotely. The City also features Amazon Alexa capabilities. Honda 2020 City starts from Rs. 10.89 lakhs ex-showroom.
15) Toyota Innova Crysta
The Innova Crysta recently got a facelift with which Toyota added its connected car technology. It can track the vehicle, geo-fence and saves the parking location. Toyota Innova Crysta starts from Rs. 16.26 lakhs ex-showroom
