First launched in September 2017, the Tata Nexon is close to 3 years old in India. The company launched the facelifted version of the sub-4 meter SUV last year, which is available in the price bracket of Rs 6.95 lakh and Rs 11.2 lakh. Tata Motors is also working on the next-gen Nexon compact SUV, which will be based on the ALFA modular platform. The next-gen Tata Nexon could likely to be unveiled at the 2022 Auto Expo, while launch could take place in the second half of 2022. The SUV will receive an all-new interior with high-end features. It will be offered with the upgraded version of the existing engines. Adding to it, the company could add hybrid versions along with the electric version. The SUV is also likely to receive new dual-clutch automatic gearbox option.
The new generation car will have a whole new design, bigger 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, standard wireless charging, better-connected car tech and better interior design.

Hill Assist and ISOFIX seats are also worthy safety features. Overall the new generation 2022 Tata Nexon will be even more loaded and continue to set a benchmark in terms of safety and value in the segment. We will see the price of the car increase by Rs 1 lakhs to Rs 1.5 lakhs. The car could be teased as a new gen Nexon concept by the end of the year
