BS6 Hyundai Engines available in India in 2020-21

CNG Engines
1) 1.1 Bi-Fuel Petrol with CNG
This engine is available with Hyundai Santro and claims to provide the best fuel efficiency. The 1086cc BS6 engine produces 59.18bhp/5500rpm and 85.32Nm/4500rpm. You get ARAI claimed mileage of 30.8km/l with 60 litres of fuel tank capacity. This engine comes with convenient CNG filling valve, CNG level indicator and a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km.
2) 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Bi-Fuel (Petrol+CNG)
This engine is available with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. For its price, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is one of the most premium hatchback with great fuel efficiency. The 1197cc engine produces 68bhp/6000rpm and 95.12Nm/4000rpm. You also get around 19 km/l with 60 litres of fuel tank capacity. It also comes with convenient CNG filling valve, CNG level indicator and wonder warranty upto 5 years.
Petrol Engine
1) 1.1L Petrol engine
This engine is available with the Hyundai Santro. The 1086cc BS6 petrol engine produces 68.07bhp/5500rpm and 99Nm/4500rpm. With this petrol engine, you get an ARAI claimed mileage of 20.3 km/l with 35 litres of fuel tank capacity. This is the entry-level engine in the Hyundai lineup.
2) 1.2L Kappa Petrol
This BS6 petrol engine is available with a lot of cars. Hyundai Grand i10, i10 Nios, Hyundai Venue and Aura all come with the same engine. The 1197cc petrol engine produces 81.86bhp/6000rpm and 113Nm/4000rpm. You also get 20 km/l of ARAI claimed mileage with37 litres of fuel tank capacity on the i10 Nios. The Grand i10 on the other hand comes with an older design but 43 litres of fuel tank capacity.
3) 1.5L MPi Petrol engine
This naturally aspirated petrol engine is used in Hyundai Verna and Creta. The 1497cc BS6 engine produces 113bhp/6300rpm and 145Nm/4500rpm. You also get ARAI claimed mileage of 18.5 km/l with 50 litres of fuel tank capacity with the Hyundai Creta.
4) Nu 2.0L Petrol engine
This is the largest petrol engine in the Hyundai India lineup. This engine is available only with the Hyundai Tucson. The 1999cc naturally aspirated BS6 petrol engine produces 150bhp/6200rpm and 193Nm/4000rpm. You also get ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 12.95 km/l along with 62 litres of fuel tank capacity.
Turbo Petrol engines
1) 1.0L Turbo GDi 100PS

2) 1.0L Turbo GDi 120PS
This is the same engine with a different power configuration. This petrol BS6 turbo engine is available with Hyundai Venue and Verna. It produces 119bhp/6000rpm and 172Nm/1500-4000rpm. You also get ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 18.5 km/l with this engine.
3) 1.4L Turbo GDi 140PS
Hyundai Creta is a very famous SUV and this engine options makes it performance friendly. The 1353cc BS6 turbo petrol engine produces 138bhp/6000rpm and 242Nm/1500-3200rpm. The engine is quite peppy and produces 16.8 km/l of ARAI claimed fuel efficiency.
Diesel engines
1) 1.2L U2 Eco TORQ CRDi

2) 1.5L U2 CRDi 100PS
This engine is only available with the Hyundai Venue. The sub-compact SUV segment is quite popular and Hyundai Venue is a great choice. This BS6 diesel engine produces 99bhp/4000rpm and 240Nm/1750-2500rpm. It also comes with ARAI claimed mileage of 23.7 km/l along with 45 litres of fuel tank capacity.
3) 1.5L U2 CRDi 115PS
This engine on the other hand is available with many Hyundai cars. The same engine is available with Hyundai Verna, Elantra and Creta. It produces 114bhp/4000rpm along with 250Nm/1500-2750rpm. The Hyundai Verna with this engine gets an ARAI claimed mileage of 21.3 km/l with 45 litres of fuel tank capacity.
4) R 2.0L e-VGT CRDi
This is the largest diesel engine sold by Hyundai India. It is also available only with the Hyundai Tucson as of now. This 1995cc diesel BS6 engine produces 183bhp/4000rpm and 400Nm/1750-2750rpm. You also get ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of 15.38 km/l along with 62 litres of fuel tank capacity on the Tucson.
