Maruti Ertiga and Maruti Brezza are both very popular and high selling cars in the Indian car market. While the Brezza is a compact-SUV and the Ertiga is a MPV. With the new BS6 Maruti Ertiga the third row of seats have become quite comfortable for adults. For the same amount of price as the 5-seater Brezza, you get 7-seater Maruti Ertiga. Price and Engine

While both the engines are same, for the same price you get Smart hybrid with the Maruti Ertiga which leads to better fuel efficiency. The fuel tank capacity of 48 litres is also better on the Brezza.

Dimensions

The Maruti Brezza being a sub-4-meter car is shorter than the Ertiga. However, the Brezza does have the advantage of being wider. The Maruti Brezza also has the larger boot-space along with better ground clearance. Though body-types are different of both the cars, the Ertiga is surely bigger than the Brezza for the same price. The third row of seats in the Maruti Ertiga leads to less boot space in the car but can be folded down for ample amount of space.

Safety and Features

Both the cars come with standard safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Anti-theft alarm, Day and Night Rear View Mirror, side and front impact beams. Both the cars also miss out on touchscreen infotainment system in the Vxi variant. Maruti Ertiga and Brezza come with a 2-DIN audio system with front and rear speakers.  Front and Rear power windows are also available in both the car. Power Boot function and automatic climate control is also only available on the Brezza. Both Maruti Ertiga and Brezza do not have rear AC vents but the Ertiga comes with rear blowers.  60:40 split seats are also present only on the Maruti Ertiga.
