Maruti S-Presso

At Rs 4.76 lakhs the Maruti S-Presso is a the most reliable offering here. The S-Presso does not look that great but the car comes with the reliability of Maruti and the peace of mind as there are a lot of Maruti touch points around if anything goes wrong with the car.

Renault Kwid

At Rs 4.62 lakhs the Renault Kwid is the cheaper alternative here. It does have a 2-star rating which ist has got for the South African model. The AMT is available for the 1.0 litre engine. Because of the new design of the car looks much more better and it does look futuristic.

The service network puts it in the second position under the S-Presso. The engine on this is a 1.0-litre petrol engine that makes 67 bhp and 91 Nm of peak torque. The most unique feature here is the rotary dial on the automatic variant for the drive selector.

Datsun Redi-go

Datsun Redigo is priced at Rs  4.87 lakhs. The car has better ground clearance but that does benefit only over tall speed bumps. The Datsun Redi-go due to the tall boy nature and high ground clearance has body roll. Going for the other car two cars over this makes for a better deal as this car is smaller and also as Datsun it does not have a good service network. The Automatic gearbox here is not up to the mark but does a good job as a city car.
