Mahindra Bolero 2020 variant breakdown

Mahindra Bolero is one of India’s most popular SUVs. Since its launch in 2000, the Bolero has been selling strong for over 20 years with regular updates and facelift. Mahindra Bolero is also one of the top 25 highest selling cars in the Indian car market. Mahindra, this year launched the 2020 BS6 version of the Bolero. Mahindra Bolero is available in three variants: B4, B6, and B6(o). Find out below about the 2020 Mahindra Bolero variant breakdown.

1)  Mahindra Bolero B4

Mahindra Bolero B4 costs Rs.9.36 lakh on-road Mumbai. Earlier B2 was the base variant but Mahindra has discontinued it. Now the 2020 Mahindra Bolero B4 is the entry-variant in the lineup. Standard safety features like driver side airbag, ABS, reverse parking sensor and seat belt reminder are present here.

Should you buy the base variant of Mahindra Bolero?

You also get digital instrument cluster, power steering, manual AC, vinyl seat covers and steel rims with wheel caps. The base variant of the Mahindra Bolero also comes with engine idle start/stop function. You also get 7-seats and remote fuel lid opener here. For its price, it is pretty decent but certainly lacks some basic important features.

2) Mahindra Bolero B6

Mahindra Bolero B6 costs Rs.10.13 lakh on-road Mumbai. This is a major price increase but does this variant deliver? Useful additional features included here are 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB and aux connectivity, power windows and remote car locking feature.

Modern features in this variant include 12V charging socket, fabric seat covers, body decals/graphics, and wooden inserts on some dashboard panels.  You also get body-coloured ORVMs, chrome front grille, and keyless entry.

3) Mahindra Bolero B6(O)

The top of the line variant of the 2020 Mahindra Bolero BS6 costs Rs.10.54 lakh on-road Mumbai. Major differences in this variant include driver information display, static bending headlamps, fog lamps and rear washer and wiper. According to us, the features included here are not worth the additional costs of Rs.41,000.
