MG Hector is going to get a facelift for 2021. The MG SUV was bought in the market in 2019 and giving it an update so early might be a part of bringing the product at a global level. 2021 MG Hector Facelift is going to have a different design for the front bumper. The lights will get chrome surrounds and the daytime running lights might get dynamic swipe indicators. Minor other design changes can be seen on the car which will not directly enhance the value but will make it for a good new year proposition for MG.
As a car buyer, the only way you will be benefitted by this is because of the change on the inside and at the time of resale. The facelift buyer can demand for more money during resale as it will be clear that it is a model year update. Interior Changes
Now on the interior we are expecting the SUV to get a better touchscreen with improved feedback and touch response. There were a few glitches in the first generation and this might have been fixed in this mild update. Also, we might see some new colours for the upholstery and dashboard.
The other thing that might not change but we expect to is the increased legroom. MG should introduce an option for the MG hector to either have more legroom in 2nd row or boot space. The 10 inch touchscreen will also get an internal update but that will also roll out for the Hectors which are already out on the roads.
Lastly, if you are waiting for the 2021 MG Hector Facelift we do not have a confirmed launch date on it. If you in for the vehicle only for the specs then sure buy it now before the prices increase. A price hike is expected for 2021 but it is not clear if it will be along with the introduction of the facelift.
