Maruti has announced festive edition kits to give customers a reason to go for their best-selling cars. These kits are there for the festive season and increase the value for money quotient of the cars. Maruti Festive Edition kits come for the Alto, Celerio, and Wagon R.

Alto Festive Edition

Festive Edition Kits are available at special prices and can be purchased from Maruti dealerships. Specifically for the Alto it includes a Pioneer touchscreen with 6 speaker Kenwood speakers. The company also has added a security system with keyless entry. The upholstery has also bee upped with dual-tone seat covers. Even the steering wheel gets a cover. To tie a bow to this the car gets a number plate garnish and mudflaps. This whole kit costs Rs 25,490.

Celerio Festive Editon Kit

The Festive Edition kit on the Celerio includes a Sony Double DIN audio system. This also gets Bluetooth connectivity. The seats also have a new feel and the cabin feels fresh because of the new seat covers. Designer mats are also included to give the car’s interior a new feel. The exterior also gets piano black body mouldings. Lastly, there are number plate garnish and door visors on offer.

Wagon R Festive kit

Maruti WagonR with the festive edition kit gets a few visual addons. These have the front and rear bumper protectors. The Front upper grille also gets chrome garnish along with side skirts. Maruti Festive Edition also includes seat cover and the fresh cabin feels. The interiors style package is sold separately. This complete edition of the Festive kit on the WagonR costs Rs 29,990.

Is the Cost Justified?

The cost of these kits is slightly higher as it comes from the manufacturer. Most of these features can also be bought aftermarket and they usually cost less. There is only one positive that everything is under one roof. This saves you the hassle to run from shop to shop.
