Maruti Eeco is one of the most successful cars of Maruti Suzuki in India. It is the undisputed leader of its segment thanks to no competition from other car manufacturers. Maruti Eeco has also remained a consistent member of the top 10 selling cars in India. It is mainly used for commercial purposes. Motor homes and Camper Vans are quite popular in western countries but not so much in India.  There is very little demand for these type of vehicles so manufacturers do not produce them. Life2Explore has uploaded this video on their YouTube channel. The vlogger walks us through the modifications that he has done to his Eeco to convert it into a camper van. He preferred a new 5 seater Maruti Eeco for this purpose because the 6-seater version did not offer air conditioning, something which is absolutely necessary for hot and humid weather of India. He removed the stock seat and moved it back to generate more space inside. The seat is now sitting on a wooden box with a cushion on top. The backrest of the stock seat was attached to the wooden box.

There are wooden planks that easily fit in between the seats, which have been custom made so that the seats can be easily transformed into a bed. There is also a storage space behind the driver and co-passenger seat.  This modified Maruti Eeco can easily carry 4 passengers, 2 in front and 2 sleeping at the rear. What about the food?

A complete camper setup is incomplete without a proper food making area. The vlogger loves travelling so has modified his Eeco accordingly.  There is also a portable stove with a platform which takes care of all the cooking needs. There is also ample storage space for all supplies.

The main surprise for this modification is that instead of approaching any custom modification centre, the owner simply employed a good quality carpenter. This shows the skill of both the carpenter and the owner. There are no exterior changes on the Eeco. Only functional changes have been made inside of the car.  The video also does not mention the cost/time required to modify the van.
