Kia Sonet launch date confirmed! Other Details inside

Finally, the launch date of the Kia Sonet has been confirmed on the 18th of September. Here is all that you need to know if you are interested to prebook the Kia Sonet to purchase. The bookings of the Kia Sonet have been opened from 20th August. Kia Sonet launch might be a proving ground for the company as they are launching a product to rival in the hottest segment in India.

Bookings

IMT expected?

Yes, an iMT gearbox is expected on the Kia Sonet as it is a sibling of the Hyundai Venue. Both of them us the same platform and the iMT technology has been jointly developed by Kia and Hyundai. This technology might not be made available right from the launch but it might appear in the future stages of the products development.

Features list

All the features have been shown in the video one by one. Some of the key features include ventilated seats, wireless phone charges, BOSE sound system and Mobile connectivity called UVO connect. The UVO connect will have 57 features which can be controlled via your smartphone.

Engine

The Kia sonet will get 3 engine option as seen on the Hyundai Venue. 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol will be the peppiest. With that the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel will be the mid variants. The gearbox options will be also vast with a 6-speed manual, iMT and a 7 Speed DCT. This car does not miss out any engine and gearbox option to beat the competition.
