Maruti Suzuki known for both its petrol and diesel engines had to shift to petrol-only after the introduction of BS6. Maruti had to upgrade all of its diesel-only cars to petrol only and the new Maruti S-Cross petrol is the result of the same. The new car is already open for bookings online at NEXA’s official website and your nearby NEXA dealerships. The booking amount has been set at Rs.11,000.  The company has also started dispatching production-ready units to dealers across the country.

The major change in this new model is definitely the heart of the car i.e. the engine.  The car first came out with a 1.6-litre diesel engine which was updated to the 1.3-litre unit after an update.
