Chevrolet Trailblazer launched at INR 29 lakhs (on-road)

General Motors have launched their much awaited SUV – Trailblazer at INR 29 lakhs (on-road, Delhi) approximately. The Trailblazer comes across as an important launch for the company that has been experiencing not so good times, in terms of vehicle sales in India.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a large sized SUV and carries the true essence of General Motors. It has a length and breadth of 4,878mm and 1,838mm, respectively. The Trailblazer is powered by a 2.8-litre engine that will come with an option a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2.8-litre engine is rated at 198bhp @ 3600 rpm and 500Nm of torque @ 2000rpm. As of now, the SUV will be available only in a 4×2 trim.

Features include a seven-inch touchscreen multimedia system with Bluetooth telephony, rear-view camera and leather seats . It also gets projector headlamps, cruise control, powered ORVMs and electric adjust for the driver’s seat.

The Cabin has a two tone black and beige colour.

The Trailblazer will be available via the CBU route.

It will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and soon to be launched Ford Endeavour. This will be coming only in a single variant, which will be a six-speed automatic transmission and two-wheel drive only. There is no 4WD on offer at the moment and not even a manual transmission.
