New Updated Toyota Fortuner Global Launch is on the 4th of June! Spy shots from Thailand have been suggesting the fact for quite some time now and finally, the launch has been announced to take place in Thailand on the 4th of June.

The new updated Toyota Fortuner will go on sale in Thailand first, followed by the other international markets. Sources have hinted that a “Special Edition” of the current Toyota Fortuner may soon launch in the Indian Market.

As far as the new Fortuner is concerned, expect a launch in the Indian market to take place only in the next year. With the current Coronavirus crisis the company will try to stabilize sales before they start introducing new products.

Toyota Fortuner Exterior

The new updated Toyota Fortuner has been spotted with an all-new front bumper and grills. The narrow wraparound LED headlamps and a redesigned bonnet will be an added feature. The spy shot revealed 17- inch wheels and dual-tone ‘exterior’ colour. Minimal but effective changes have been made to the rear bumper also.

Expected Specifications

The updated Fortuner is rumoured to be powered by the ongoing 2.8-litre Diesel and a 2.7-litre petrol engine respectively. Expect power outputs to be bumped slightly higher in the New Updated Toyota Fortuner. Also, the car will be offered with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and 4×4 options.

Toyota Fortuner has remained a market leader in its own domain for a very long time. In spite of facing tough competition in the Indian market, it has successfully managed to hold its ground and the new “updated” Fortuner will continue to extend the legacy of Fortuner brand in India.
