Abarth Punto and the Avventura (Powered by Abarth) are launched for INR  11 lakhs (on-road, Delhi) for both. Both these engines are powered by a 1.4-litre T-JET engine that produces about 145bhp of power on the Punto and the Avventura gets 140bhp. The Avventura is actually only powered by the Abarth and it only gets the powerful engine, while the Punto gets a complete set-up of suspension done and other mechanicals by Abarth. Avventura cannot be called as Abarth, as Fiat wants to continue with more Fiat badging over Abarth as there isn’t an international version.

The Abarth Punto gets the T-JET engine that is already assembled in India and already powers the Linea, however the power has been bumped up to 145bhp and it comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Abarth Punto gets different exterior styling and of course the Abarth’s Scorpion badge. There is the Abarth livery, 195/55 R16 tyres with the drooling 16-inch Abarth alloy wheels and this is what makes it stand out against the regular Punto Evo. To make it safer, it gets all four disc brakes for fade-free braking.

The Avventura and Punto will be coming in two colours. The Punto does a 0-100km/hr in 8.8 seconds and the Avventura does it in 9.9 seconds. The fuel efficiency of the Abarth Punto is 16.3km/l as per ARAI cycle and the Avventura is 17.1km/l.
