Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake spotted

Last week we shared the images of Mercedes CLA facelift, today it´s time for the CLA Shooting Brake facelift that we spotted while testing on the Nürburgring. This is another model based on the MFA platform. Mercedes-Benz is working on a smaller facelift on the CLA that is due for 2016.

Just like the recently revealed A-Class the CLA will get an updated front fascia with new headlights (LED headlight will be optional on standard models but standars on the AMG version) , grille and bumper.  This prototype has no changes yet at the back, but expect rear lights with new graphics and a slightly redesigned rear bumper.

A new instrument cluster and a new display for the infotainment system make up the upgrades to the interior. The freestanding and frameless screen will also grow in size compared to the current one.

 There shall be new and more adjustable seats and a new steering wheel is also in the package. The engines will also be updated as they have been in the A-Class facelift as well.

The CLA Shooting Brake has no plans for India at the moment, as estate wagons aren’t generally preferred by Indian buyers.

Audi has been the first to get the RS6 to India, now we need to watch other automakers do.
