The Mercedes E class was launched in 2016. It instantly became a favourite amongst executive buyers who wanted S class level comforts at E class prices. Although the price of the E Class is a fair bit more than its rivals especially of the E350d, the car has segment-leading levels of comfort and cabin feel. It has been four years since the car has been launched and although it does not look aged from any angle, Mercedes has decided to give it a fresh makeover for this year. Find out the changes for the facelift to the car below.

Design of the E class facelift

The majority of changes in the E class facelift are from the outside. It no longer gets the twin DRLs that has been a signature dish for the E class. Instead, it gets a redesigned headlight that looks a bit sharper now and has the angular DRLs on top of the lights that are seen on all the new Mercs such as the CLS and the new A class. The front air vents have also been changed. From the rear as well the lamps have been completely changed and are somewhat similar to the new tail lamps that are seen on the new GLE. All this has given the car sharper look and it no more looks like a baby s class and has its own distinct design language.
