Hyundai Verna Facelift expected to be unveiled at Auto Expo 2020

Hyundai is preparing to reveal the all-new Hyundai Verna. The vehicle will be seen with a new facelift at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020.  The Auto Expo is scheduled next week and there are some leaks about the specifications of the vehicle. New Engine on the Facelift!

The Hyundai Verna facelift will be a BS6 vehicle from the start.

This vehicle will get the engine from Kia. This a 1.5-litre diesel engine generating a power of 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The Petrol engine produces the same power but less torque at 144 Nm. The current generation of the vehicle has a 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engine. This diesel engine produces 126 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque. The petrol has a power of 121 bhp and 151 Nm of torque. There is also a 1.4-litre engine on the current generation which produces 89 bhp of power on the diesel and 99 bhp of power on petrol. The torque will for this diesel engine is 220 Nm and for the petrol is 132 Nm.

Hyundai Verna Facelift Changes

A large number of changes on the Hyundai Verna Facelift are in the interiors of the vehicle. The vehicle will see a change in upholstery and design of the dashboard. It will take inspiration from the recently launched Hyundai Elantra. The 2020 model is expected to arrive with a lot of comfort features. The infotainment system of the vehicle will be seen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The facelifted model will also get fully digital instrument cluster and automatic climate control. The steering will also see a design change with a new placement for audio controls.

The 2020 Hyundai Verna is expected with LED projector headlamps. The rear taillights will also be LED.

The ORVMs will be electrically adjustable. We are also expecting an electric sunroof on the new model. The features like ventilated seats and wireless charging will be the hot updates on this year’s vehicle. Also, a cooled glovebox will be seen as a cookie update!

The Safety features of the vehicle will see ABS along with electronic brake-force distribution. The reverse parking sensor will make parking easier along with a rear parking camera. According to the new safety norms, the vehicle will get an over speeding warning and dual front airbags. The car will also get ISOFIX child mounts.  The price of this facelift model is expected to range around Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 16 lakhs. The current pricing of the vehicle is at Rs 8.18 lakh. This vehicle will be seen with other facelifted models by Hyundai.
