Kia Niro Crossover spotted -EXCLUSIVE

We have spotted the new Kia Niro, the entry level crossover from Kia, once again.  This time it was testing cooling and brakes in the Austrian Alps when we shot the photos.

Compared to the last sighting at the Nürburgring, the camo has changed since the Kia guys had to remove the heavy camo up front in order to get the right conditions. Rumours suggest that the Niro, once it hits the market in 2016, will come with hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions only.

 The technical base would then come from the Prius competitor that Hyundai is developing.

This was first revealed as the KX3 Concept and aimed at the Chinese market it´s now clear that Kia is working on getting the Niro ready for the rest of the world.

 The market for small crossovers/SUV´s is still growing and Kia/Hyundai are on to get a bigger piece of that cake.
