Maruti Suzuki launched Ignis under their premium retail chain of Nexa and targeted millennial generation. With funky styling elements inside out, Ignis appealed to many and was rejected equally too. As we all know looks are subjective and totally depends on individuals perspective. Bold squared-off SUV-ish front end gave this little hatchback a rugged stance but the old school rear end design spoiled it all. But then people who loved the design, took it to the next level by adding their very own custom bits. Let’s have a look at five such awesome looking Suzuki Ignis modification jobs.

Suzuki Ignis Blue Whale

This Suzuki Ignis modification is based on low rider theme. Low-riders are primarily cars with lowered suspension which improves the riding dynamics of it. Apart from that this gives that car a look resembling a beast ready to pounce. This lowered stance is then further accentuated by modified bumper with lower lip and wide air intakes. While the rear bumper gets faux skid plate and black treatment for taillights. Two key highlights of the side profile are 16 BBS alloys with low profile tyres and additional cladding on already flared wheel arches. The attention to detail put into this whole job is noticeable all across. Red LED DLRs upfront, sticker on front door,cross bars on the roof, modified front grill with black accents, racing strips running across the length are some of those details.

Suzuki Ignis S-Urban Concept Inspired Modification

Next car on the list is Suzuki Ignis modification job based on S-Urban concept showcased by Suzuki in GAIIS 2017. In contrast with the car which we saw above, this one gets SUVs treatment. Any SUV is characterized by its higher ground clearance and same is given to this car too. Then front bumper is customized to house cuts for larger wheels. This new bumper contains new fog lamps and faux skid plate too. On top of it, a new bolder grill replaces the stock unit. Then to bonnet fake air intake scoop is added.

Side profile is updated with thicker and rugged looking black cladding running all across car’s length. Car’s footwear is changed to multi-spoke black alloys wrapped in high profile tyres with big block pattern. The new orange and white dual tone paint job gives this car necessary flare and off-road attitude. This whole job was undertaken by National Modification and Aftermarket Association, Indonesia.

Fan Made Suzuki Ignis Modification

A very enthusiast owner Mohit Malik of Ignis has turned his possession into what it looks like to be a rally spec car. Looking at his profile suggests that the guy used it for his expedition to Leh – Laddakh and during some local rally events. Lets see what this Suzuki Ignis modification looks like. The list of modification includes custom side exhaust, BMC DIA cold air intake system, 15 inch rims and 20 inch LED light bar in the front. But the most unique thing about this car is custom body wrap which looks stunning. Red painted rims along with painted letters completes the look.

Fan Made SUV-fied Ignis

Here is another Ignis which got dose of modification to give it some different character by an individual. We know that the Ignis is designed to look like a SUV and can be called a micro-SUV. The owner Madhumohan Shan from Karnataka has taken efforts to further enhance that aspect. This Suzuki Ignis modification is not exhaustive as ones we saw above. Front end gets big LED bar and some sticker treatment. Also a big snorkel, non functional though, and roof rails makes it look intimidating. All black alloys adds the necessary weight to overall design. This modification job, despite being minimalist, made it to the list considering this is done by an individual.
