Amongst its several launches this year and the following one, Mercedes-Benz is also looking at bringing its BMW X6 rival, the GLE 450 AMG.

The company has imported one unit of this stylish SUV for homologation and it may be seen on Indian roads soon.

The GLE 450 AMG is based on the GLE coupe, and measures 4,891 mm in length, 2,003 mm in width and 1,719 mm in height.

It has a wheelbase of 2,915 mm and a turning circle of 11.8 m. This AMG vehicle bears an AMG badge and an AMG body kit. It also has LED head lamps as well as tail lamps, a pair of chrome twin exhausts neatly tucked into the rear bumper. The GLE 450 AMG rides on sporty five-spoke 21-inch alloy wheels.

The interiors are black with aluminium inserts, a 3-spoke nappa leather steering wheel, AMG sports seats, brushed metallic pedals and carbon-fibre trim with piano black accents.

As usual the GLE 450 AMG will come loaded with safety features. Mercedes-Benz is going all out in making its international products available in India, which is good news for Mercedes fans.
