The Maruti Suzuki WagonR 2020 will be a vehicle that loyal Maruti customers will go to as an upgrade from their old Maruti vehicle or even new buyers will look at. This Maruti WagonR 2020 will get the same 1.2 and the 1.0 K series engine options. The 1.0 L engine produces a power of 67.04 bhp and the torque output will be 90 Nm. The 1.2 L engine produces a torque of 133Nm and the power is 81 bhp. The engine has a 5-speed manual gearbox. It comes with an Automatic gear shift option. The engine is BS6 compliant and will not see any change in the future after the launch of the vehicle.

The interiors of the vehicle are simple and clean. They will remain the same in the new model of the vehicle. It might get a new infotainment system. It will get plain fabric seats which can be easy to clean and maintain. The vehicle will have a simple but dual-tone center console. The instrument cluster might get a digital tachometer with an analog speedometer.

This means that the vehicle will be seen with a different steering wheel too. The controls of the steering wheel will be different than the usual one. The addition of cruise control might be seen on this vehicle. One more addition to the interiors will be the increase in the storage space of the vehicle. The placement of the badging of Suzuki might shift from the grille to the bonet. the bonet is completely flat and simple. The rear boot door is straight. The badging is seen on the rear strip.

The vehicle is a safe vehicle according to the Global NCAP. This vehicle has got a rating of 2 out of 5 stars. This is a great improvement over the older generation of WagonR. For driving safety the vehicle gets electronic brake distribution which is paired along with ABS. The vehicle also gets rear parking sensors. The vehicle might get a rear parking camera as an optional addon to the higher variants. The WagonR will get 2 airbags as standard. There are no more airbags that are offered in the higher variants of the vehicle but the vehicle might be much safer if they do so. All the passengers now get proper seat belts.
