2020 Mahindra Marazzo will come with BS6 ready petrol engine

The Mahindra Marazzo has been proving to be hugely successful to the automaker. The car is now challenging the Maruti Ertiga strongly. The price of the Marazzo is thus, expected to increase slightly after the introduction of its BS6 model. Soon the new 2020 Mahindra Marazzo will be launched. This will be a model year product It will be seen that the vehicle will not get any major updates except a BS6 ready set of engines. Yes, both the diesel and the yet to come petrol engine will be made available on the Marazzo in BS6 avatar. A few new themes will be offered in the upholstery. 2020 Mahindra Marazzo Launch

The Marrazzo 2020 will launch around in star of the year 2020. This launch will be a basic year launch with the highlight of a BS6 engine and a petrol engine too. 

2020 Mahindra Marazzo Variants

The variants of the Marazzo will not see a major change. The only final change will be made when the BS6 variant comes. This will see the addition of a petrol engine which is yet to be revealed. This petrol engine has been long-awaited but it won’t be a new engine. It will be the same 1.5 Litre engine that Mahindra uses in its other cars. The current pricing will change and increase. The BS6 compliant Marazzo will be slightly more expensive.

The current car’s price comes to around Rs 17.50 lakhs (On-road, Mumbai). The price of the 2020 Mahindra Marazzo should be slightly higher. We expect Mahindra will try and keep the car under 18 lakhs. BS6 is set to increase the prices of the car.

2020 Mahindra Marazzo Design

The interiors and exterior of the car will see no change, except when Mahindra launches the AMT version of the car along with the BS6 engine. The center dashboard will see some changes. Some updates like a sunroof can be expected but with the Surround AC unit on the roof, it is highly unlikely. The exterior will not change at all. Some new color schemes and accessories could be offered.

The dashboard will continue to get a premium dual-tone interiors with a piano black dashboard, pearl white and chrome finishes. It will also sport a big touchscreen infotainment system. Features that are predicted to come as standard for some of the lower variants are, automatic climate control, auto headlamps, cruise control, one-touch up and down windows and electrically adjustable mirrors. The instrument cluster has purple touches and will have a great array of information on it. The seats on the top variants might get an option for leather.

2020 Mahindra Marazzo Specifications

Currently, the 2020 Mahindra Marazzo gets the 1.5-liter diesel engine that will make around 112bhp and 300Nm of torque. The car only gets a manual gearbox, a six-speed unit. These engine specifications make the Marazzo more powerful than the Maruti Ertiga and the Renault Lodgy. The car is also going to be the first Mahindra built on a monocoque platform. There is also a diesel automatic in the works for this engine. The car will be offered in petrol version with a manual and AMT gearbox as well in the future. This will be definitely after the BS6 variant comes in. The 2020 Mahindra Marazzo will include 1.5-litre petrol engine which Mahindra already uses in its other products.
