Honda Motor Co. Ltd. unveiled the images of the  ‘Light Weight Super Sports Concept’, which they will be showcasing at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The concept seems to be based on the new CBR250RR supersports motorcycle.

This next-generation super sport concept model features a combination of surfaces and sharp edges that help in better aerodynamics. The styling and design is attractive and features a matte-black colour with low-contrast graphics.

Light Weight Super Sports Concept

According to Honda, the bike is designed with stress on strong road presence. The super sport concept model features a look that possesses a sense of speed derived from its long nose and low crouching position. The Super Sports bike is mounted on a trellis frame and  will be powered by a parallel-twin engine. The upside-down forks that will improve its suspension and give Honda a upper hand as comapared to rivals like Kawasaki, Yamaha and KTM. The motorcycle also features front and rear disc brakes.

The overall design has sharp edges and athletic stance that lay emphasis on an aggressive look.

An Akrapovic exhaust system can also be seen and expected to have a roaring exhaust note. The Honda CBR250RR , when launched in India, will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390 and recently launched Yamaha YZF-R3.
