The Royal Enfield Classic is a bike that is loved by royal Enfield fans like crazy. The bike offers a classic old school look and has a lot of status and perceptions attached to it. That’s the main reason why this bike sells too. Now, this Royal Enfield classic has got an update for the BS6 version that will be launched in 2020. The 2020 Royal Enfield gets some of the major changes. In addition to this, the changes were expected to take place long back by the current user of the bike. The launch of the 2020 Royal Enfield Classic is expected to be around early 2020. The 2 major bikes, ThunderBird and classic are expected to launch as soon as possible. 2020 Royal Enfield Classic Price

The price of this bike will receive a hike of 10,000 over the existing price. This will be because of the electronics that will be offered on the bike. From the spy shots, we can make that the bike will get fuel injection which will surely add to the price. Along with this, the new digital console might marginally add some rupees to the current price.

2020 Royal Enfield Classic New Features

The new bike for the year gets some major updates. To start with there is an all-new console. The console was something that was always a reason for someone to turn their heads from a Royal Enfield Classic. Now with the new console, the basic problems like the fuel indication and gear position indication might get solved. In addition to that, the Royal Enfield has changed the switchgear buttons. The buttons that are offered for the kill switch are combined with the ignition button. The passing light switch is also changed. These buttons are new totally new and have never been seen on any other bike. Another change that took place was a major one but went unnoticed. To make the engine BS6 the layout of the chain has been changed along with it. The chain has been shifted to the left and the rear brake to the right.

The reason for this is the new 6-speed gearbox. There will be a drastic change in riding behavior as well as highway cruising. The bike will give a better fuel economy due to this extra gear on the highway.

In design terms, the bike gets a new engine casing. Hopefully, it will not heat up to as it does now. The new engine casing has also lead to changes in the break and gear levers. Even the seat seems to have changed a bit. Although Royal Enfield overs a lot of customization options anyway.

2020 Royal Enfield Classic Colours

The vehicle will be seen in 3 different colours. There will be a new colour as a stealth black. The other colours will be seen in Chrome and Gun Metal Grey.  These colours make the vehicle a bit more premium and the vehicle will also have some better looks. The chrome will be a bit difficult to maintain but it certainly will bring a nice appeal to the vehicle.

2020 Royal Enfield Classic Mileage

The mileage on this vehicle classic 350cc is around 40 km/l. The new engine might change some fuel economy but it won’t drop below 30. This will change a lot of things in the vehicle overall.
