Hero MotoCorp has launched the Maestro Edge and the Duet today. The price of the Maestro Edge variant prices will be at INR 54,000 and INR 55,500 (on-road Delhi respectively).

The model will be launched on 13th October. Both the scooters are powered by a 110cc engine that produces 8bhp of power and 8.

3Nm of peak torque. The Duet is more of a personal scooter and the Maestro Edge is a family scooter.

This is Hero’s first ever scooter that has no inputs from the Honda technical team. Hero is moving away from Honda’s technology and these are the first set of products. The Duet has an all metal body. The Maestro will continue with the Pleasure as well. Both the scooters have give year warranty, which is a Hero promise. The Duet is more for the youth with its styling being more oriented for younger set of audience, while the Maestro Edge is for the mature. Hero has launched these two products just before the festive season to get complete advantage of it.

These will be competing with Honda’s Activa-I and Activa 3G.
