Hyundai i20 2019 Engine and Transmission

Hyundai is offering a 1.2-litre petrol engine churning about 84bhp of power and about 115Nm of torque.

This petrol engine comes with five-speed manual and last year, a CVT was also offered on it. So, the 1.4-litre petrol with four-speed automatic has been discontinued. This new CVT combo, reduces the pricing due to taxation and even adds more value to the content. CVT improves the response and even the mileage. The petrol engine is absolutely silent and has decent performance.

It has amazing performance. This engine churns about 90 horses and it has six-speed manual transmission. It is quick and even quiet. This makes it an exciting package to consider.

There are automatic headlamps and evenrain-sensing wipers. The music system on the i20 is excellent, and in our Best Music System under Rs 12 lakhs cars, the i20 system came second.
