Suzuki Gixxer Siblings to get Rear Disc Brake Option

Among the current crop of 150cc motorcyles on sale today, it is Suzuki’s Gixxer (along with its Gixxer SF sibling) that impresses us the most. All that power on tap in an agile chassis make for one potent package. There’s always scope for improvement though & we’re glad to see Suzuki echoing this thought.

In latest developments, the Suzuki Gixxer along with its Gixxer SF sibling are to get an upgrade in the braking department at the rear. Come the festive season, buyers will now have the option of upgrading the drum setup at the rear wheel to a disc.

Suzuki is expected to up the price for this option by an estimated INR 3000 over the regular drum brake version. At these prices, we would wholly recommend the upgrade to anyone opting for these fine 150cc siblings – the optional disc brake making this potent package more complete than ever.
