Honda CB300R Neo Sports deliveries begin nationwide

The customer deliveries of the Honda CB300R Neo Sports has begun. This is a bike that is made with a lot of different style and ideas in mind. Is it retro, is it a cruiser, is it a naked bike? We will find out soon. The Honda CB300R Neo-Sports Café puts Japanese craftsmanship to work and brings together with the two main components one looks for in a bike – style and performance. According to the company, the design of the bike is themed as a retro café-racer. The all-new CB 300R is built to make the rider feel invincible. Honda had announced that the Honda CB300R Neo Sports Cafe is coming to India at an ex-showroom price lower than Rs 2.5 lakhs. The bike has now been launched with a price of Rs 2.41 lakhs.

Honda CB300R Neo Sports Price

Honda had said that the bike’s ex-showroom price will be under Rs 2.5 lakhs. This means that there will be a lot of customers who will want to upgrade say from an Apache 180 or an FZ25 that will want this bike. The bike has been announced with a price tag of Rs 2.41 lakhs. This bike will also serve as an alternative big 300cc plus bikes like the Ninja, Bullet and the Duke. We think the ex-showroom price should be around Rs 2.30 lakhs. The Honda CB300R is available in two exciting colours- Matte Axis Gray Metallic & Candy Chromosphere Red. Bookings are open at the exclusive Wing World dealerships across India.

Let’s talk about the looks. The Honda CB300R Neo Sports is a retro cafe racer. Its bold new look contrasts brushed alloy radiator shrouds with a blacked-out engine and an underslung, upswept exhaust. The all-new steel tubular frame and stout-looking, 41mm upside-down front forks, provide agile handling as well as character. And with a round headlight, taillight, and indicators that are all LED, this bike is made to be seen and stand out everywhere. Neo Sports Café round LED headlamp is built with unique lighting for every riding situation. The 28.6 mm diameter handlebar in the middle area is designed to have a tapered shape for more secure and stable control.

The Honda CB300R Neo Sports gets a new Full LCD Multifunction Meter Gear with shift warning lights for when the engine speed reaches the specified range. And the Peak Hold function, which allows you to ride exactly how you wish.

The engine returns peak power of 32 bhp at 8,500rpm, with peak torque of 27.5Nm at 7,500rpm mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Honda CB300R Neo Sports Cafe features exhaust pipes that are resplendent in Neo Sports Café style. The interior features a 2-room structure, providing powerful and aggressive engine sound while increasing the efficiency of the acceleration response. The 7-level Preload Adjustment rear shock absorbers support all riding conditions, whether riding in the city or touring. The first of the large, 41mm silver front-back chokes are the same size as Honda’s big bikes. This provides excellent balance in all road conditions. Additionally, providing confidence in braking at any speed are 296mm disc brakes on the front of the radial mount, and 4 pot callipers.

The bike will compete with latest offerings from BMW and Jawa but will also go up against the Dominar, KTM Duke and the TVS Apache RR310.
