Fiat opens bookings for Abarth Punto

Fiat India commences the booking of the much awaited hot hatch, Abarth Punto. The booking amount would be INR 50,000. This indigenously built hatch would be launched in a month’s time and will be available across 100+ exclusive dealerships pan India.

FCA India is looking forward to cash in on the festive season by launching the “Made in India” Abarth, the iconic Italian brand with a racing DNA and a great tradition of performance. The Abarth Punto will be priced about INR 10 lakhs (on-road approx) and will be powered by a 1.4-litre T-JET engine that will be producing 145bhp of power and will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

The Abarth is Fiat’s performance brand and we can expect the Punto to not just more powerful, but even have 16-inch wheels and some more frills than the regular Punto.
