The upcoming Abarth Punto Evo is being launched on 10th October and has been spotted at Fiat Caffe in Bangalore. The car which was completely camouflaged had a tagline #WhoAmI written in bold, on it.  The camouflaged car is deliberately placed in front of the dealership to attract attention and make onlookers curious.

Bookings for the Abarth Punto Evo have begun and dealers are accepting around INR 50000 for the booking, which is fully refundable, in case one cancels it.

The Abarth Punto Evo is powered a 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine shall deliver a power of 143bhp and over 200Nm of torque. The car is targeted towards the VW Polo GT TSI which produces a power of 105bhp. So, the difference in power output between the two main rivals is a good 38bhp, which is quite a lot.

The Abarth Punto Evo will come with a five-speed manual gearbox, unlike a DSG automatic in the Polo GT TSI. This car is primarily for the enthusiast drivers, who prefer to drive a manual transmission. The suspension unit and brakes have also been tweaked for better performance. It has a slightly stiffer setup and also gets rear disc brakes as standard. The 20mm lower ride height will further aid its handling.
