The Renault Duster facelift has been spied yet again testing on the GST Road in Chennai, which has a little less camouflage and this reveals the new headlamp assembly clearly.


The test mule spotted by a reader of IAB shows exterior changes that will include a new headlamp with LED lights, new front grille with a single slat design and new bumpers with scuff plates. The muscular look of the SUV will be as it is and it will also get new roof rails.

The interiors also shall be updated with a new seat fabric and a new seven-inch touchscreen system with a brand new instrument cluster and several new additional features too. The interiors will have better fit and finish to take on recent. The rear-end will get redesigned taillight clusters and there will also be completely new alloy wheels.

The Duster will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that will produce 83bhp and 108bhp and is rumoured to come with an automatic also. The Duster was the first compact SUV and is the only one to be offered with an all-wheel drive (AWD) variant and this will continue with the facelift.

The Duster has recently been facing lstiff competition from new entrants like the Hyundai Creta. Renault is looking at consolidating its position once again in the marketplace
