Ford is due to launch the Figo hatchback on the 23rd of September. This will be the company’s new-generation hatchback that will be powered by a 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol and a 1.5-litre DV5 diesel engine. This is based on the same Figo Aspire platform and it will be manufactured in Ford’s Gujarat plant.

The Ford Figo will be replacing the currently sold generation of the Figo, and this will be replaced by a more powerful, fuel-efficient and feature-loaded version.

Ford Figo will be priced between INR 4.5 lakhs to INR 7 lakhs (on-road) and it will get features like multiple airbags, steering mounted audio controls, reverse parking sensors, speed warning etc, which will be new and weren’t there on the Figo previously. The Figo will have similar interiors like the Figo Aspire.
