It is yet to be seen what design language will Suzuki follow for the Swift, as the overall design concept in the current generation car has been carried over from the first generation one. However, it is expected that the design will have similarities to the YRA hatchback (Baleno).

As the Swift remains a popular car in India, one can expect to see the Swift Sport concept at the Auto Expo in 2016. India is a priority market for Suzuki and hence the India launch also may be simultaneous to a global launch, expected in 2017-18.
