The third-generation Skoda Superb hs been spotted in India as it will be launched sometime early next year. Skoda’s new Superb is based on the new MQB platform, which is shared with the Jetta and the Octavia. The Superb will now be bigger and lighter than the current one and it will be powered by a 1.8-litre turbo petrol and 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.

The Laurin & Klement variant (which is the top-of-the-line variant) for any Skoda and will be coming with the new Superb. The current Octavia and the Superb do not have this variant either. Skoda will be launching the new Superb with several new features like touchscreen infotainment with reverse parking camera, satellite navigation system, three zone climate system, bi-xenon headlamps, electric driver’s seat and an electric tailgate. Then there are the 18-inch alloy wheels and adaptive suspension with three driving modes.

The Auto Expo 2016 is where Skoda will be showcasing the Superb, however there is no certainty that which all variants will be made available on the Superb. The other variants will be smaller size alloy wheels, when compared to the L&K trim.
