After separating from Honda, Hero hasn’t had many bike or scooter launches. It had tied-up with EBR for technology development, which had also recently filed bankruptcy.

Despite all this, Hero MotoCorp has got all its launches scheduled and it will be having about 35 launches in the next three years, as per our sources.

The Hero brand will be launching two scooters in the next two months. These are 110cc scooters, Duet and Maestro Edge. The 125cc Edge has been delayed and first Hero will want to stop using Honda technology on its existing products and so the Maestro Edge will be a 110cc scooter, replacing the current Maestro. The Duet will be an all-new scooter product that will be launched with several first-in-class features.

Then there will be a 110cc motorcycle, which will be made on the same engine.

Hero will getting new 100cc engines for its motorcycles, then the other engine sizes will be 125cc, 150cc and 250cc. There are plans to even get a 200cc engine to capture the Pulsar 200 segment.

The 250cc will have a sports bike and even a off-roader bike. With the company’s learning from the Impulse segment, it will be utilising the dos and donts on the 250cc off-roader bike, which will be sharing the same engine with the HX250R. Hero MotoCorp will be focusing at retaining its market share and also getting premium bike models too.
