Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has already sold 27 units of the CBR650Fs before its launch this month. Bookings were officially opened for this flagship model on 10th July.

The CBR 650F is priced at INR 8.35 lacs (on-road, Mumbai) and Honda was ready with initial lot of bikes before launch and ensured that discerning customers would not have to wait to get their hands on the much awaited motorcycle. The company assembled 29 units of the CBR 650F in July. It is estimated that 35-40 bikes would be sold by this month.

The Honda CBR 650F, is sold through only 12 select showrooms, besides the two existing Honda wing world showrooms located in Mumbai and Delhi. The select showrooms are located across Pune and Ahmedabad (west zone), Chandigarh and Delhi (north zone), Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata (east zone), Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Cochin (south zone) and Lucknow and Indore (central zone).

The Honda CBR 650F is powered by a liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder, 85bhp, 649cc engine. The other  four-cylinder motorcycles in 600-800cc category sold in India are Benelli 600i and 600GT with 84bhp and Kawasaki Z800 with 113bhp.
