Jaguar XJ 2016 to be launched by year-end -EXCLUSIVE

Jaguar Land Rover India has an array of new products to be launched in the coming two years, at the same time they will be even upgrading their existing product range too. The XJ 2016, which was revealed a few months ago is the first vehicle to make it to India as a facelift in the coming months.

0-litre petrol and 3.0-litre V6 diesel engines. Jaguar has raised the bar further and the new XJ will have a new top-of-the-line variant Autobiography as well.

The new XJ Autobiography features 20-inch wheels, LED headlamps, illuminated treadplates, quilted leather seats that makes it feel a lot more premium, individual sound set-up for rear seats and a new rear entertainment system.

The infotainment system are upgraded as it now has the Jaguar’s InControl Touch Pro system. There is also a new electronic steering, which the company claims to be adding a lot more joy to driving.

The Jaguar XJ R-Sport version also gets an upgrade. There is a new rear spoiler, sportier seats and more upgrades on the inside.

This gets a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine that produces 541bhp of power and comes mated to an eight-speed ZF transmission. The 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine now produces 296bhp making it a lot more powerful than before. The XJ 2016 will be making its way into India sometime next year.
