Toyota Land Cruiser 2016 Refresh Spied

The all-new edition of the Land Cruiser may be some time away but Toyota have been working hard to keep fans happy in the meantime too. The 2016 model year should see a thoroughly refreshed version of the popular SUV as indicated from the spy-shots floating about. In-fact, ClubLexus Forums have been buzzing with updates on the ’16 Land Cruiser and, @Hamad1two3 there’s been a steady share of spy shots has a rich feed of spy shots that showcase the 2016 Land Cruiser in all its gleaming glory.

As can be seen from the snaps, the 2016 refresh now sports the signature Toyota looks at the front, without really taking away those Land Cruiser genes. In-fact, the front end looks really great. Overall the design cues seem to work well, especially the strong chrome accents, the grille-work & the headlights Toyota seems to have done a fair bit of work on the interiors too. We love the front bumper on the range topping VX.S variant and Toyota appears to have tinkered a little with the panels too. An all-new alloy wheel design should round things up on the exterior rather nicely.

Step inside and you see that Toyota have reworked the interiors too with a reworked instrument cluster and center console. The existing 5.7L V8 is expected to continue duty under the hood with the 381 Bhp & 401 NM torque propelling the occupants at fairly decent speeds. Rumours are Toyota might offer the UK Land Cruiser Prado spec 4-cylinder, 2.8L engine, along with the 4.6L V8 Petrol and the 4.5L V8 Diesel in the 2016 Land Cruiser but there’s been no confirmation on that front so far.
