Maserati to set-up its first showroom in Andheri, Mumbai

Maserati will be making its official announcement on the 15^th of July, but we are aware of the fact that the first Mumbai showroom for the Italian auto maker will be in Mumbai. The location of the showroom is likely to be in Andheri, near the new T2 terminal in the city. Our sources state that a new Taj hotel is coming up near the airport and this is where the Maser showroom will be as well.

Maser will be introducing the Ghibli as one of its models, which is a direct competition to the BMW 530d in the North American market. But as this will be a CBU, the pricing will be on the higher side.

Maserati is looking at introducing its other models too.

It is coming to India independently despite its parent company having an existence in the country. Fiat now is an independent company in India, which was earlier a JV between Fiat and Tata Motors.

Maserati’s management will also be different and won’t have any connections to Fiat. Maserati will be beating big on its diesel engine and the 4.2-litre petrol as well. It will be competing with the Porsche with the Quattroporte against the Panamera.
