We earlier reported you that Honda CBR 650F has been spotted at a company dealership in Indore and even Honda has started taking bookings for the bike at a token amount of INR 50,000. Now, we have come across the specifications of the CBR 650F in a comparison with its rivals Kawasaki Ninja 650, Triumph Street Triple and the Ducati Monster 795. For those asking, Honda CBR 650F India launch is expected to take place this month, after the launch of Livo 110cc commuter on 10th July.

Going by the Honda CBR 650F spec sheet, it would be powered by a 649cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which would belt out 87 horses at 11,000 rpm and 63Nm at 8,000rpm. It would be paired to a six-speed transmission. Initially, the CBR 650F would be retailed through 20 selected company outlets in the country. It would be offered in one colour only while having only 5 per cent of local content. The company is capping 2 units/day as far as manufacturing is concerned. Dimension-wise, the 650cc motorcycle measures 2,110 mm in length, 755 mm in width and 1,145 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,450 mm. There would be a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front suspension and a swingarm monoshock strut at the rear.

Being based on a dual-spar steel frame, Honda CBR 650F would come with dual disc brakes. It would have a 320 mm twin-piston calliper disc at the front and a 240 mm single-piston calliper disc at the rear. Also, a digital speedometer with two trip meters would be offered as standard equipment with this middleweight motorcycle. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has earlier announced that it would launch as many as 15 new products in the country in 2015.
