New Toyota Fortuner image leaked

New Toyota Fortuner isn’t far away from being unveiled and another image (this time the side profile) has been leaked. The Fortuner will be launched in India in 2016 and will be launched this year in Thailand. The Fortuner’s side profile reveals the blacked out pillar design, smaller glass area for the rear glass quarter, sleek headlamp design, a new alloy wheel design as well.

There is also a side step also on the Fortuner. The Fortuner will be powered by 2.

4-litre and 2.8-litre diesel engines that will produce about 140-177bhp of power.

These engines will come mated to an option of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The Fortuner will be made available with 4×2 and 4×4 driving modes. The Fortuner will be a lot lighter, powerful and efficient than the currently sold Fortuner. The fuel-efficiency hasn’t been a strong point for the Fortuner and this will be taken care with the new Fortuner.

Toyota Fortuner has been the best seller in its segment and it will expect to continue to be the same once the new model is launched. Toyota has enhanced the capabilities of the Fortuner and worked on the styling and even the quality of this new SUV. The pricing will remain similar as Toyota will increase the localisation for the new Fortuner, making it a lot more affordable than the currently sold one. Toyota will be doing the same with the new Innova as well, and making it a lot more affordable.
