Honda has been working on a new 125cc motorcycle. This isn’t an all new motorocycle, but it is the CB Shine SP, which SP stands for Sport Production. This bike is similar to the CB Shine, however it will have a different body style that is a lot sportier in design. The CB Shine SP is codenamed as K67A. The CB Shine is one of the best-selling motorbike from Honda and the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will want to increase its reach further. The CB Shine has a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that 10bhp of power and about 10Nm od maximum torque too.

Honda will be introducing more 125cc bikes in the market but this will be a different offering in the already existing 125cc bikes.

Honda will want to take the lead in this segment and score more brownie points than the competition does so.

Honda had announced to have 15 launches in 2015, of which some are upgrades and the rest will be new launches. Honda has so far updated its scooter range this year and a couple of other high selling bikes like the CB Shine.

The Japanese bike maker is also looking at getting into the 100cc bike segment and increase its rural market sales, an area where Hero MotoCorp is very strong. Honda is also increasing its reach in the performance biking with the Unicorn 160, which was launched last December.
