Triumph India is about to recall the Daytona 675R motorcycles, which have been sold in India. These motorcycles have an issue with the suspension.

Ohlin, who is one of the leading manufacturers of the shock absorbers, has confirmed the particular part number in question to be having a fault with the piston nut that has a possibility of becoming lose, leading to an accident.

Triumph uses the same part in the Street Triple too, which is not yet sold in India, however, the issue needs to be addressed in the Daytona R, which is sold in India, by Triumph. Triumph India is beginning to contact its customers for the recall. 34 units of the same have been sold till date.

DaytonaThere are other makes too which have been affected by this recall, namely the Yamaha YZF-R1M, launched last month in India and the Honda CBR1000 RR-S, which is not sold in India. Triumph has been growing fast in its so far Indian journey and we could soon see them also to assemble products in India, to reduce the pricing.

Recently the company had launched the Tiger XCx and the Tiger XRx, their new adventure and on-road riding bikes. Triumph, Harley Davidson and even Indian have become highly aggressive with their India strategy and soon we could expect the company to introduce more products to capture this growing market.

By 2020, the Indian bike market would have developed and is likely to attain one of the largest markets in the world.
