The new generation Jaguar XF has been spotted by one of Autocar’s reader in Bengaluru. This new XF was spotted with heavy camouflage as it was been tested. Jaguar had recently showcased the new-generation XF at the 2015 New York Motor Show in April. This is the same sedan that is being tested for Indian conditions as well.

The new Jaguar XF is built on the iQ Al platform, with about 75 per cent of the alloy in the composition being Aluminium. The new XF is on an aluminium diet and it has ditched about 190 kilograms of total weight, when compared to the currently sold XF. Jaguar also claims to have 30 percent more stiffer body and an ideal weight distribution of 50:50.

The engines that will be offered on the XF in India will be the 2.

0-litre Ingenium diesel and the 2.0-litre petrol. There will be a V6 diesel and a V8 petrol too in the offering. The chassis has been designed keeping hybrid integration as a part of the plan so developed markets like North America and Europe will get the XF hybrid too. This should happen sometime in 2016.

The Jaguar XF will make its way into India sometime in 2016.

The XE, which will be the company’s new entry-level sedan, will be coming to India next year as well. So, the British marquee is prepared to have an exciting 2016 as it will be getting multiple new products in India.

This year it has got the 2.0-litre XJ so far.
